Edited by: Sakura Nihil on 02/11/2006 13:38:18 Anyone stop to consider its these kinds of threads that keep the ratio at what it is? A classic example I always reference is the "are there female pirates?" thread in C&P, or the completely retarded "are there girls in EVE?" posts in General.
Yes, there are girls in EVE. Yes, they usually don't mind killing you just like the men. No, they don't want to give you pleasure after you killed their hauler and turned them on - stop daydreaming.
Originally by: Letouk Mernel You know, WoW has a 30% female ratio, so that's a much better game to find a date and have fun, get some action, etc. Plus, they have full bodied avatars, with all the body parts rendered, AND you can undress them. Much better game, you know?
At 30% ratio, a lot less people are sicko's and affected by this CGVP disorder you speak of. Unlike here.
We should all go play that game.
You'd better be sarcastic.

Wait, so you can't have an intelligent convo with a guy?
Originally by: DB Preacher hmm, I think you're figures are incorrect.
I'm more 80% male and 20% female.
Wanna cop a feel ?

I will say though, we need a more balanced population - lately we've started to be less mature on the forums and ingame chat, and started to degenerate into the "OMG pics or stfu!" kind of mindset that we so despise.
Hopefully we'll draw an influx of newbies with Kali 1, and especially in Kali 2 with faction warfare, though I suppose our best bet will be if we ever get planetary interaction going or get to walk around with our characters, etc...
Time will tell.

I'm sure you'll be very happy when you finally meet her in person.
Haha, yeah, she sent me a picture that is called 18/f/cali.jpg... I'm afraid to open it.
j/k we live together actually. And she plays guild wars more than eve. As she says "space ships are boring, I want to hack something to pieces". It brings a tear to my eye.
Clone her please.

Edited by: Sakura Nihil on 05/11/2006 07:24:59 To be honest, I don't care what gender you are - yes, I find it interesting to find a rival pirate or PvPer to be a woman from time to time, but its along the lines of "Oh really? That's cool - so anyway, who you blow up today? A T2 fitted rax, nice !".
I do my utmost to respect other players for their skills and not their sex, and I've found almost everyone I've worked with in my time here to also be pretty mature about it. Oh, and if anyone doubts that girls PvP, let's just say I've worked with some very skilled women over the years who could still kick my ass .
edit: Quick afterthought - one thing I have noticed in general is that distribution is relative to age in the game. I seem to encounter a lot of newbie females that tend not to stick around for the long haul, contributing to a somewhat balanced, initial population that grows more male-dominated as time progresses. My take on it at least, I wonder if any one else has seen this in their experience.
